You might find this hilarious, but in fact it's terrifying in forecasting how this nation and our supposed "religious freedom" laws are making everything. Just wait until it's turned on the majority (Christians) as opposed to securing their privilege.

The restaurant analogy is wrong...it missed a key factor in the decision.

The judge didn't limit it to cakes that were already made and on display. He included any cake on the bakery's menu; any cake the baker might have made for any other wedding. The only thing the judge supported the baker on was making a custom designed cake. In the restaurant analogy, this would have been like the gay customer ordering a "signature salad" then insisting the salad chef write, "I love pussy!" with the croutons.

The baker in this case was an idiot for turning down a job; but they did not refuse service to the customer. They did not refuse to bake a cake for the customer. The offered to make any cake they would make for any other customer and provided a reference to another bakery if this customer did not like the selection at the bakery in question.

The more accurate equivalent would be suing a vegan restaurant because I can't get a decent hamburger there.
