There has been much discussion on the new film, The Last Jedi , the most recent entry into #StarWars canon. Much of it has been debating whether the film was good or bad, whether it followed the proper "StarWars" narrative, whether it was true to the source material - and so forth. Personally, I liked it as a film, not so much as a legacy to Luke Skywalker and everything we've learned of the Jedi over the previous films. It looked like someone had beaten him with a hammer. I was livid and started going door-to-door at the strip mall asking who owned the dog. I found the owners who explained the dog had a ten pound tumor on his head. They already had surgery to remove it once but it grew back within days. The tumor was almost too large for the dog to bold up and they had euthanasia scheduled for about a month from when I met them. They said they had scheduled and canceled the procedure numerous times because the dog still liked getting out and playing and they believed if it wasn't bothering him they would hold off as long as possible. I had #Aetna for a year. It sucked. While I never the insurance for anything even remotely near what this girl needs, when I did need them for a minor checkup they made the entire process extremely difficult. The girl in the article, Cara, needs a minimally invasive laser surgery approved by the FDA to stop her seizures. Aetna would rather cut her head open and slice off part of her brain. I grew up with cops in my family. I still have cops in my family. I've had friends that were cops. I've even known a few acquaintances who were cops. I won't say most of them "were good people" or otherwise try to downplay police assassinations of citizens, but I will say the police have a problem. And if one of their blue brothers commits a heinous act it reflects on all of them. In this photo is a little girl who was playing by herself in the sand at the dog park. No adults around at all. So I stopped and said, "Having fun?" Yes , she replied. "Do you have an adult with you?" Yeah, my grandma is over there getting Tucker. "Oh, okay," I said assuming one of the people more than 100 yards away was her grandma. I made it barely a handful of steps before the little girl screams, THIS MAN WAS BEING NICE! As I passed a woman heading towards the girl I asked if she was the grandmother. She confirmed she was. Apparently Tucker, the dog, wasn't as keen on leaving the dog park as grandma.
