I read somewhere that the CEO of Vero once stiffed thousands of of employees of their paychecks resulting in many of them becoming destitute or even homeless.

The company was so negligent that in some cases the Saudi Arabian government had to step in and provide food and basic living supplies to workers spurned by the company._
