So, while I'm trying to watch The Big Bang Theory the neighbor lady comes over and starts talking to my aunt. They're both right here in the living room talking over to the TV. Neither of them has even thought to leave the room, go outside or anything. I turned the volume up and they talked louder. I have bare'y heard a word of this episode. And what are they talking about? Nothing. My cat does this, my husband mows the lawn, the other neighbor's A/C person ... Seriously? Does no one find this inconsiderate?

Like most of us I have a place where I throw errant change when emptying my pockets. Some of us use jars or cans, bowls or a tabletop -- I, I use a vodka bottle. Why? Because the bottle was cool looking, the mouth is wide enough to get all sizes of coins in and out, but narrow enough that nothing is going to fall out too easily.  This bottle is used for "silver" change only. You know, quarters, nickles, dimes and the occasional dollar coin. Pennies have their own specific box I toss them in. Namely, a cigar box someone was going to throw out so I commandeered it for pennies. Since I'm getting ready to leave Florida for Denver I decided to cash in the abundant amount of "silver" change I had lying around and hopefully get enough to put some gas in my truck or food in my belly. So, that was weird. I was out taking Rufus for a final walk around the block before going to bed and a dark 4-door sedan was cruising down the street with none of it's lights on. Ever since +Gene Bowker started his #Americana theme I've been wanting to do this. Finally, yesterday evening, I did. This is a flag I found on the ground a few months ago and being a veteran I couldn't just get rid of it. I've been hauling it around with me through thick and thin. Yes, those are my ID tags. I don't think you can read anything important on there, though.

So, I just ran up to the local Walgreens to grab a soda. As I"m leaving I notice a mini-van parked in the closest to the door handicapped spot, more specifically I notice what's in the dashboard above the driver's seat. Plain as day was a 8x10 printout of a naked woman reminiscent of Playboy. Out there for all the world to see. Not only that, but it had Jennifer Aniston's face photochopped onto the face of the model. I've seen a lot of Friends and Jennifer Aniston's body never looked like this one, I can assure you. What surprised me was the boldness with which it was laying bare on the dash for all the world to see. Nothing else was up there: no pile of papers it could have slipped out of, no folder or manila envelope it could have slid out from. Just the one image in a document protector sheet. Ah, the South...

So, I exported a Facebook event to Gmail and then tried to use the "Add to calendar" function to add it to my Calendar. And this is what I get. Of course, when I export the .ics file and import it, I have no idea where it imported to on the calendar because it does not take me to the new entry and the date doesn't show anything assigned to it.
