Okay.

Okay. I've seen this "meme" passed around a lot over the past week and I have issues with it's message. Specifically the part about Han Solo not believing in the Force.

At no point in the original trilogy does Han Solo say or otherwise indicate that he does not believe in the Force. He calls the Jedi a "hokey religion" sure, but he never says he doesn't believe in the Force. He may not put faith in the Force, but that's his prerogative and in no way diminishes his belief in it.

Oh, and his job, the only one he was hired to do, was to get Kenobi and Luke to Alderaan, which he failed to do. Not his fault, of course, since Alderaan was destroyed before he could complete his contract. That doesn't mean he "still did the job he was paid to do."

So, this meme is all kinds of wrong and stupid and people should stop sharing it immediately.

It was just funny, regardless of inconsistencies. ;)

Poking fun at Kim Davis or any person who forces their religious perspective on others is always fun, but let's keep it real.

Points taken, and I wouldn't share the meme either, but "let's keep it real" is really funny when discussing details of the Star Wars universe. 😉

As a county clerk, Han Solo would issue first.
