It's a good thing I dont give a bit about football, or sports in general. A friend of mine who has attended several football and hockey games this year does nothing but complain at the TSA-style "security" being imposed upon by arenas, teams and municipalities.

Next it will malls and universities -- anywhere peoe gather in large quantities.

how long before there is a shooting spree and the only people attacked are the security guards hassling everyone?  I'd say once it's instituted at the malls some nut-ball is going to snap.  Some of this "security" is just a challenge or lure to those with the mental capacity for mayhem.  Sort of a self fulfilling prophecy, if you will.
