I really liked WebOS and had Palm not delayed the launch as much as they did, as well as the terrible handset, I believe it could have been a contender in the not-iPhone marketplace. When HP bought it, I fully expected side-by-side running on WebOS and Windows on HP computers. Instead HP just gutted all the 'valuables' and set the rest adrift.

I'm glad to see someone doing something productive with this software.
