Got me pretty good, but then again I've lived all over the place. Terms and pronunciations have changed over the years. For example, as a kid we went to garage sales but now I use yard sales. When writing I will use the plural you but in person I will use the term you all or you guys depending on the circumstances. I grew up with lightning bugs, but now I know them as fireflies.

Regardless of where I've lived, I still  have a strong Michigan dialect.

It placed me in Lincoln, NE. I've been in CA all my life, but I'm the first one to admit I have odd speech patterns. I've picked up phrases from others my whole life and incorporated them into my vocabulary, just to be well rounded. Yeah. I'm so well rounded I sound like I"m from Nebraska.

Perhaps it placed me there because that's the center of the country and when it averaged my answers and couldn't put me in a region, it slapped me in the middle!
