Does anyone actually use the editing software that came with your camera?

Does anyone actually use the editing software that came with your camera? I've been trying to use it a little since my rights are nearly expired on my go-to software (http://www.phaseone.com/capture-one) and I wanted to see what I could do with Pentax's home grown editor.

However, I find it nearly impossible to use. Selected images don't show up in the preview plane, none of the little icons are labeled, the 'undo' button is never selectable even after making changes and for some ungodly reason, "rotate image" is hidden in a drop down menu instead of up front and in your face.

Yes its a bit unfriendly. I shoot in RAW and use DCU4 to do most of the processing, with final tweaks of colour/contrast and unsharp mask in Photoshop. Unfortunately I've yet to find a decent manual for it and have just got by with trial & error.

Pentax is located here in Denver and I went to their offices one time and have them a review of the software (granted this was the version that came with my *List DS). The CSR told me they outsource the software so they have no control over it's usability. It's terrible. They could have, and should have, gone with a more mainstream partner. Ugh!

I always use the software to transfer from raw to jpg.
