We know this because our country was founded on the principle that our rights come from God, and that our government is only instituted among the people to secure those rights and protect them from infringement. Moreover, when our government begins to overstep its rightful bounds, and when the public servants who are hired by way of vote begin to trample those God-given rights and usher in an form of governance that is destructive of that idea, then it is the right of the people to alter or abolish that governing system and institute a new one.

I see a great opportunity here for divinely-guided marketing services whereby a Higher Authority leads us unerringly towards the right target audience. ;) Jason ON Add to it the need to buy more incense and the odd candle and we simply cannot lose! :D

Alex Shull I would. However, I don't believe our government would give crap one about the Constitution if the 2nd amendment were repealed. After all, all those Democrat members of Congress have armed guards. If there were no threat of right wing nut jobs rising up in armed revolution (as opposed to just being revolting), the Parties could just declare it null and void. Should it happen on a Republican watch, we could end up in "The Handmaid's Tale", on a Democrat bend we could end up with the worst parts of "Logan's Run". Like it or not, believe it or not, those Idiots and lunatics with their guns and their Doomsday prepping are our last line of defense against tyranny, and like nuclear weapons they are a defense we hope we never see used.
