I never really cared much for Rudy Giuliani, but then again I never lived in NYC while he was mayor. Maybe the man who once had a mission in life, bringing down the mob and crime in the Big Apple, is just getting older and more senile. If so, it would explain his devotion to the lawlessness and lack of character that is #DonaldTrump.

_At first, Trump disappointed Giuliani by refusing him a coveted cabinet position. But as he waited in the wings, the streetwise former mayor either ignored or dismissed all the signs indicating that this president lacked integrity. He should have recognized the intrigue, the deceit, the lawlessness, and, ultimately, the indictments that surrounded the Trump White House. He should have seen that those who enter its orbit in a blaze of glory usually leave in a pile of ashes.

Giuliani jumped in anyway, leaving his conscience and reputation behind. Few will recall anything he achieved in his previous career. The last memory they will have of the man who conquered New York is that of a misguided politico and a mediocre lawyer._

Rudy's been declining ever since he voiced approval of waterboarding, saying that he and his associated in the District Attorney's office had done this and worse to suspects.

I'm shutting down Google+ for the night and quite possibly for the weekend. Why? This stupid #gifwars thing people are so proud of. This Adam Black guy said he doesn't like gifs and now everyone is mass trolling him. Having been mass trolled like this I can relate to him easily enough. Have an opinion and the collective might of Google+'s lower class denizens jump on a bandwagon. I just saw a post where someone wanted to jump on board and had to get clarification she was tagging the proper Adam Black. She wasn't even connected to him ! Nor was she a part of the original discussion. She just wanted to follow the herd. When I called her out of it she claimed, "one gif doesn't make a troll." Perhaps not, but she's contributing to a larger troll effort. One straw doesn't break the camel's back, but thousands will. So, tonight, Google+ disgusts me. It probably will tomorrow as well. And possibly Sunday. I gave up Google+ for two months this spring
