Both Google and Facebook collect inordinate amounts of data about us, so what's the difference between the two online giants? Well, for one, Google is upfront about what is has on you. For another, Google also let's you delete or deny what kind of information they collect. Facebook doesn't do either, but instead decides to hide their practices until they're leaked and then they offer a half-hearted apology, a promise to change and then goes on about their business until the next scandal.
