The photos with he blue sky are what the park normally looks like. Just now, with the storm dropping rain like there's no tomorrow, the sidewalks are all in knee deep water, the ponds are flooded, even the flat grassy areas are a foot under the surface.

And, Rufus absolutely, positively, needed to go out.

That sure is a lot of rain.

Funny how uneven it all is. We have fairly ordinary amounts here. Some places have too much. And some places are so far behind the too much wouldn't even fix it.

The thing is, we're on the east side of the continental divide so the rain will flow to the Gulf of Mexico when the southwest needs it more.
