I hate these laws.  That said, I saw a local police cruiser that was a confiscated car.  It  was hilarious, they turned a PT Cruiser into a police car and are actually making a cop drive around in that embarrassing thing.  Now I'm wishing all the local drug dealers started driving Smart cars.

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects,[a] against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

I think I read that somewhere.

Tanin Ehrami because we're not all blood thirsty animals? Most of us prefer to use the rule of law and have a strong desire to be decent to our fellow human beings. Although they are misguided and wrong, there is not yet sufficient cause for bloodshed. We must be better than them to prevail, not stoop to their level.
