That word is definitely not valueless. Hell, I think you win Scrabble if you use this one.

value-less in what sense?

in the sense of being worthless or in the sense of being objective?
Jason ON said…
I'm guessing, without value.

Jason ON  Thats what I was asking.
"Value" has different meanings

Unless we're talking math, such as the value of X, I think value is very subjective to the individual.

I'm.not sure what an objective value would be.

Jason ON  values are subjective to the individual.

Science is value-less because its based on objective measurements.

Science is valuable because  of what it produces.

Pure Science is also a value,  because knowledge is worth pursuing for its own sake

I disagree. Sciencenisnt valueless because it uses objectivity in measurements. Science is a process and that process holds value. Science is also a collective in various fields of study which also hold value to society.

Jason ON  I disagree.
You can disagree with the dictionary, but its merely a semantic argument, one that is valueless because it doesn't touch on the actual meaning ( values assigned ) of the words

Sciencenisnt valueless because it uses objectivity in measurements.
Oh NO?

Science is a process and that process holds value.
Are you agreeing with me or disagreeing with me ? because I already said that.

"Pure Science is also a value,  because knowledge is worth pursuing for its own sake"

"Science is also a collective in various fields of study which also hold value to society"

I said that already too ...
"Science is valuable because  of what it produces."

Jason ON The word "value" has different meanings.  Thats why I asked which one(s) floccinaucinihilipilification.  applied to.

I agree with some of what you said and disagree with others. I think you keep confusing value with values.
