Was waiting for this but then they announced the new Nexus. Decision-making sucks. My last two (read: only two) Android phones were pure Android experiences, from the G1 to the G2 (yes, I'm still rocking an older phone). Time for an upgrade, but they keep announcing goodies.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 size has officially grown on me.

It feels like a normal sized phone now, and I'm only reminded how huge it is when I get strange looks in public.

The note 2 is a huge success, but yeah way too big for my taste. I havent made up my mind about changing phone yet the end of this year still reserving some surprises.

I played with a Note when trying to decide if it was too big and it's like holding a paperback book in your hand. Very much on the borderline of pushing the "too big" boundaries, but not crossing it.

yeh i have tried both of the Note's , and just cant get myself doing it lol... plus im a pocket phone person, most of the times i have them there so thats another issue.

Same here (with the pockets that is) and I was apprehensive at first, but it slides in my pockets fairly easily. I am a little nervous about moving too quickly or something and snapping the phone in half on my powerful thigh muscles.

I have powerful thigh muscles. It's a curse. ;)

Hi Jason ON for me the decision was very easy. The Nexus 4 has no microSD card slot. I need one because with the Samsung mobile dock the Note 2 is my notebook alternative. An microSD card with 32GB is also cheap and I can use it in all my devices.

Any particular reasons why? I apologize, I don't know how to + your name commentor above this.

At least MS made a sync software for mac users, unlike samsung that craps on them.
Jason ON said…
Well... Apple shouldn't have sued Samsung. But, I digress...

Samsung never had a soft for mac users.
Jason ON said…
Oh, I didn't know that. I've never owned a Samsung anything: phone, TV, radio, washer/dryer, nothing.
Jason ON which cellphone service are you with?
Jason ON said…
T-Mobile at the moment. I'd consider leaving them though. Have been for a while, in fact, but their customer service is fantastic (most of the time).
Jason ON I came from t-mobile but now with Verizon. They do have great customer service and that's the ONLY reason why I sticked around for a while. Eventually, I just had to switch because I need a more reliable service.
Jason ON I should've figured that when you said G1 & G2.

I used to work for Verizon and that company will never get a dime of my money.
Jason ON I used to own a Verizon store, bwhahahahha! I had to let it go 2mos after they released the family shared plans, very recent.

I used to work in a VZ data center. Or rather, I used to manage a VZ data center. Those people are a bunch of lazy asshats.
Jason ON I've been with at&t and t-mobile and Verizon does have the best service in my area. I've never tried sprint, I don't think I will.

I had at&t before and while it was Cingular. I used to work at an AT&T provisioning center in QA. AT&T Wireless was great, Cingular severely dropped the ball.

VZ gave me a Verizon Wireless phone for work and the service as terrible.

I've never had Sprint either, Lanie deVuch. My roommate ad a few other friends have it and none of them complain too much. They get more coverage than I do on T-Mobile but their speeds aren't as fast. Voice is about the same.
Jason ON I do know of certain areas around where I'm at where sprint has way better signal than any carrier. My whole family is with Verizon and we go camping often. It's the only one that works. But for me, none of them can beat tmobiles customer service.

Cell phones while camping? Blasphemy!
Jason ON dude, we go camping in style, you don't even know. Portable showers and bungalow size tents. We have a portable full size kitchen, I don't even know how to describe that.
