Can, or rather should, a magistrate be allowed to order unames and passwords of people?

Sure they can be changed post trial, but to turn them over leaves people in a bind -- who now has control of your social media information?

Shouldn't the defense or prosecution have to prove the information they seek is there, perhaps with a screen shot, before being allowed to go fishing for supporting evidence?

It is a very important subject . Where will get that legal situation ? Only the time will tell us...

Ooo, this is interesting.  This is a privacy issue, so I would think it follow the same guidelines as physical property.  A judge should be able to provide a warrant to go into someone account provided there is probably cause.  Its up to law enforcement and prosecutors to make that case.
