For those of us paying attention, #DonaldTrump has a long history of saying one thing and doing another. Because of this trend we may be willing to blow off Trump's remarks about bringing #fireandfury to North Korea as just that: a blowhard making remarks he'll never follow through on.

At least, that was my thinking when I first heard about what our president said.

And then I started thinking more. Trump has a serious problem in the headlines to include, but not limited to, Russian probes, grand juries looking into his finances, infighting in his White House, cabinet members contradicting him and so forth. The press has been quick to point out the trend of Trump throwing temper tantrums on Twitter each time an event in real life challenged him, such as the recent news of the FBI raiding Paul Manafort's house with federal subpoenas and Trump tweeting about blocking transgendered people from serving in the military. https://goo.gl/9CMMFX

What if - and I'm only speculating, here - the "fire and fury" remark was, once again, the magician's trick of having us watch the right hand while the left was doing on the work?

Seems reasonable doesn't it? All eyes are focused on Trump's words and the possible outcomes, once again, while something somewhere else is happening that he'd rather we not focus on? But what?

What doesn't matter. The real fear is what if Donald Trump is trying to lay the foundation of his own false flag operation? What if, after seven months of being raked through the coals by the media, he's looking for his big reveal that will redirect the public's attention from his own personal exploits to a war that may run his entire presidency. I promise you, once that first attack occurs no one will care about tax returns, Russian probes or whether or not his children are inbred. Instead, we will have wall-to-wall media coverage of war. We won't hear about Mueller's investigation and congress may even put an end to it in the name of solidarity.
