You got a way better shot than any of mine. Where did you go? I was in Alliance, Nebraska.

About halfway between Lingle and Jay Em, WY.

Jason ON how was the traffic going back? I would say I-76 was heavier than normal, but not even close to normal I-25 traffic.

How on earth did you get that shot out of a cellphone, Rob? That's excellent!

And just lucked out

You are clearly both more talented and more lucky than I am.

I drove my kids two days South to see the eclipse. It was totally worth it!

You cellphone shot is much better than my cellphone shot, Rob Andersen.

As for traffic returning to Denver - it sucked. In every major conceivable way you can imagine. We sat in traffic for three hours just to get through Torrington, WY (not that large of a town) and then another five to drive the 90 miles or so south to I-80. The worst part is, WY State Troopers had HWY85 shut down and were redirecting traffic to my "back way." In order to avoid heavy traffic on I-80 and then I-25 I decided to continue the "back way" south to the Pawnee Grasslands then on to Kersey, then to I-76.

All-in-all it took me about 11 hours to make the 240 mile drive.

Jason ON that's why I changed to Nebraska. Multiple ways home.

FWIW I came back through Pawnee NGL as well. At least that part was pretty. I'm sorry it was such a horrible drive home.

John Bump Going up it was nice, but coming back it was 10 at night.
