At TGI Fridays.

At TGI Fridays. The waitress didn't know what domestic meant in regards to beer. When I asked, she admitted she didn't know what domestic meant at all.

We argued. I won. In the end, though, I'm going to have to check my food before eating it.

Oh come on....I'm sitting right next to you....she's been fine. It's not exactly the kind of occupation that requires an ivy league education. She's always been very nice and efficient to us in the past. Plus, I've already shown her our coupon....how hard do you think she's really trying at this point?

Yeah, but she works in a bar. She should at least know what domestic means. That and Fat Tire is made right here in Colorado. She didn't even know that!

Sounds like a conversation I had with a bartender at a wedding in Kansas...

"Domestics are complimentary and imports are $4"
"I'll have a Sam Adams"
"That'll be $4"
"But it's from Boston"
"Well yeah, but technically it's a microbrew"
In fairness, she has been good to us in the past but tonight's performance was definitely lacking. While I was not cruel, I certainly did not tip her as well as I would have normally. I doubt she'll notice....
