The other day I was at the grocery store and as I pull into the parking lot I see a neighbor of mine walking her cart out to her car. Lucky for her, she was in the spot closest to the store entrance. I mean, closest. Thinking I might say "Hi" I kept an eye on her as I parked and headed her direction only to see her push her cart to the front of her car and then drive away.

She was maybe ten steps to the front door of the supermarket. Ten steps! I know this lady isn't handicapped or anything as I know her from walking dogs. We'd regularly cross paths while she was out walking her two labs and I was walking Dumb and Dumber.

As a kid I used to collect carts at a supermarket and I quickly learned to wonder why people couldn't (1) return their carts or, at least (2) turn them into one of the parking lot corals.

I usually grab a cart or two from the lot as I'm heading towards the store, personally.

I will do that as well, John Bump. Or even take one from someone who's just finished unloading their groceries into their cart. It not only makes me look nice but it keeps a cart from being abandoned in the parking lot.

Carts here are locked and in order to get one you need to insert a 1€ coin to unlock it. Putting it back where it was, means you'll get your coin back.

I don't make a lot of personal posts so please bear with me. #Rufus hasn't been doing well for the past week or so. I mean, he's 13 (at least), and has slowed down due to age, but the past week or two he's been acting like every movement is a Herculean effort. A few times in the past couple of weeks his rear legs have given out on him completely to where I've had to pick him up and carry him which is, in itself, telling. Rufus has always hated being carried and struggled continuously when I did so. Yesterday while petting him I noticed two golf-ball sized things up under his chin. Now, they may be benign lipomas as Rufus is covered with them (one one each thigh, one on each shoulder, one on his chest and a few smaller bumps here and there) or they may be indicative of something else. I'm no vet and aside from emergency medic battlefield training I have no medical experience whatsoever, but these new things seem to be where your or mine lymph nodes are located....

In the United States and most western countries, Fido is a family companion and while it's not ethical to judge another culture by our standards, anyone who doesn't at least (humanely) butcher the animal first is acting without proper care. South Korea relies on western consumerism for their economy and needs to be aware that we do not accept the practice of skinning and boiling dogs alive. What's so innovative about the Apple Watch? What has Apple done since the launch of the iPhone that was truly innovative? I read articles all he time about features this and software that, but I haven't seen anything where it was definitively proven where Apple has been cutting edge for years. christopher rizzo called me a troll for questioning his religious adherence to Apple consumerism.  So, can someone explain where Apple is truly innovative?
