I agree, Arrow has some terrible writing.

I had to stop watching because of both the wring and acting (in the episodes I saw anyway). It was unbearable.

Yeah, the acting isn't great in Arrow either. It almost watches like a comic book reads: skipping from panel to panel with just enough plot and dialogue to get you from one fight scene to the next.
I haven't even bothered with "The Flash", purely because of "Arrow".

So far, The Flash is much better written than Arrow. I keep wondering what the point of a secret identity is, though.

Correction. This article has some abysmal writing. #stophating
I absolutely love this show! However in terms of dialogue, my husband and I were cracking up at the Season 3 Episode 7 where Felicity tells the guy with the mine, "I don't blame you for not wanting to sell Ray your mine, because you don't know what his plans are. The thing about Ray is he's not a businessman. Businessmen make deals, they make money. What Ray is, is something else entirely."
So dull. I mean, who would honestly go, "Oh, in that case. Ok."

And, really, does Oliver need to say, "I need your head in the game." to Felicity any more?

But we still love the story line, the characters, the show! So we're loyal fans!

Thank you! It isn't just me! Other people see it too! I felt like I was in the twilight zone for the longest time.

I think Arrow came out of the gate strong and then stumbled. It's definitely not written for adults, or even smarter children. For me, it plays like those live action shows on Nickelodeon and DisneyTV.

As I said (last year, I think) it had the potential of being the small screen's Batman Begins, but failed miserably.

Gotham is a much better written and acted show.

Arrow has just turned me off on all the other DC/Marvel shows. I have been disappointed with Spiderman for so many years, my heart cannot take much more.
