Why on Earth would I follow a Google product on a Facebook social network when Google has their own social network?

Someone set up a fb page for the purpose of getting it ranked on Google search and then building a fanbase they can market to.

Similar to when Google does stuff for iOS first.  They know they have us already.  Trying to get more people in.

Because google has given up on G+ being used by the masses?

Though I hear FB is slowly dieing too.

Apparently twitter is all the rage (I keep hearing scary stuff about Twitter lately and how people treat each other on it).
