I have to begrudgingly agree and point out, once more, how Marvel Entertainment and Sony have annoying kept Peter Parker in high school. In the comics Spider-Man goes on to a varied career where he is widely respected (for the most part) amongst the hero community. He is not a Stark fanboy and does not rely on Iron Man's tech in his suit. In fact, one of Spider-Man's greatest traits is that he's just a man with extraordinary powers separated from danger by nothing more than thin film of fabric. Every other skill and bit of tech he brings to the table is developed by himself, Peter Parker: kid genius.

I know Marvel Cinematic Universe is loosely based on the Ultimate universe, but still - Spider-Man has a long and wonderful history (minus the clone saga and One More Day) where other heroes Marvel at him, not the other way around.
