Do you like to work on your own equipment? Maybe you enjoy the simplicity of changing your own oil or headers, upgrading your own computer or fooling around with software options.

Right now companies are trying to prevent you from doing so, either by restricting warranties or outright banning the practice. And yet, research shows when companies interact with their customers they create brand loyalty. In my experience this is undoubtedly true.
