Out walking Rufus. It's a bit cooler today, so we're on a 3 mile loop. Which is a lot considering he's 13.5 years old.

Wow... These days it's rather difficult to get my dog (9y) to even do one small round (800m) in the park. Too hot...

Two weeks ago it was in the upper 90s and, yes, Rufus had trouble making it around the park.

I have a border collie too, only a year and a half old though, so he can go all day.
Our last walk was 12 miles (New Town Trail, Irvine)

Ah, I remember those days! Rufus isn't a BC, but rather an Aussie mix, probably with some sort of setter or spaniel. My dog before Rufus was 100% border collie, though. Yes, she could go for days. I was a much thinner man.
