History is filled with robber barons.

History is filled with robber barons. Apple is just another in a long line. Hell, Google didn't invent the browser; Ford didn't invent the automobile and Rome didn't invent democracy. Apple didn't invent a lot of things, they just added flair.

Actual History Vs Apple Shill History

We've seen lots of examples of this. Biased tech reviewers love to give Apple credit for things they did not do. Like invent the PC, or the magnetic connector, or the smartphone, or the mp3 player, etc.

See, Apple people have a serious mental problem, and it has to do with the inferiority complex Apple had for years because of the water the tech shills used to only carry for Microsoft. Everything was slanted in favor of Microsoft. This was before Apple lucked out and started making a fortune with their stolen iPod design. But it's a complex Apple still has to this day.

It's hard making a cheap product like the iPhone 6S, and getting 500 percent over what it's actually worth. That requires marketing and psychological manipulation to trick the masses.

Now, all of that unethical activity, and the paying off of tech writers, and the "high school" atmosphere that surrounds Apple leads to things like this:

Apple Shill Reality:
Apple invents all design language. Everyone else copies Apple. All phones are some copy of some Apple device in some way.

Actual Reailty:
Apple was looking for a cheap way to make phones that look good. They noticed Oppo had invented a "metal band sandwich" technique which was incredibly inexpensive, and easy to assemble by unskilled labor. Apple copied this build technique.

But actual reality isn't good enough for Apple fans. They have to pretend Apple did everything first. It plays to the Apple marketing fantasy. Because of this, and because of the sheer number of Apple shills in the valley press, it's almost universally accepted that Apple created the design language that they outright stole from Oppo.

Fast forward a few years, and we see this happening again. Apple has clearly stolen HTC's design language at this point. I mean, it couldn't be more obvious. They saw how HTC did a modification on the also cheap "fill the bowl" design, and outright stole it from HTC, along with their unique Antenna solution. So recently when HTC released a minor variation on the 2014 version of a design that predates the iPhone 6 by a few years, all the valley shills jumped all over themselves to accuse HTC of copying.

One wonders what design language Apple will steal next? I know I'd be pretty pissed if Apple was taking credit for my work.
