Question: Do you think #DonaldTrump is purposefully trying to restrict executive agencies from communicating with Congress, or is this just a case of a very naïve administration making rules they haven't thought through first?

The first scenario could be read as a step in the direction of authoritarianism and the second just means his administration is working things out as they move along.

Just part and parcel of him slowly installing his fascist regime it seems. :(

It's a tough place to be. The congress can supoena anyone to testify. But, if the congress does not exercise this, then it will be lost. Rule by executive order. Wow, that was quick.

He's trying to run it like one of his businesses.

It's intentional. No amount of transparency is desired, just like he didn't release his tax returns. He can't pretend he's not mismanaging the country if information about what is happening is leaking out. He wants absolute control over the message that gets out. He wants obfuscation, not oversight.

Stacy Sanchez, I agree with you which is why I think he's going to have a tough time of it when Congress decides he's overstepped his authority. There are some things even the #GOP can't let slide.

And I agree with you, Bryce Miller. Trump isn't a fan of transparency, as we all know. And yet, there are laws and policies he's not going to be able to avoid.

There was an article the other day saying that there are more leaks (mostly about Trump's terrible temperament) coming from inside the whitehouse than ever before. They do not like him, and he is trying to stop that flow of leaks I imagine.

Do you happen to have that available, Joe Lancaster?

Screw Muggz that's the one. Cheers.

Heck, I posted that one myself earlier yesterday. I was thinking you had one about the number of leaks or how journalists consider Trump's antics a goldmine in leakages.

Jason ON I heard it somewhere on a video also (perhaps TYT?) but i don't know what source it was referencing.
