Let's face it, all movies should be character driven. They are stories after all and without character the stories miss a certain depth. Think of it as two dimensional versus three dimensional. Marvel made their bones by creating dynamic three dimensional characters and the accompanying stories. This is something that has drawn readers in for decades but, in my opinion, has eluded the third party studios who own Marvel's character rights. They saw the costumes, the SFX and CGI and made shallow films.

If Logan is as character driven as this article claims then this is definitely a move in the right direction for Fox and hopefully other studios will follow suit.
