I use it to create a secure container file.  I can carry it on a USB drive (the encryption is so strong you don't have to worry about someone cracking it) and mount it when I need to access it. When you mount it it just looks like another USB drive on your system.  Nice thing is that the program can run on Mac and Windows and the file can go between them with no issues.
