Chinese labor camps for nothing more than not following the state sponsored religion.

When the religious right finally get their agenda passed we'll have similar camps in the USA on the light side. On the heavy side, they'll follow the fundamental Muslims and just murder those who dont fall in line.

Letter from a Chinese forced-labor camp found in Kmart Hallowe'en decorations
Since last Hallowe'en, a woman in Oregon has been circulating a letter she found in a box of decorative tombstones she bought at Kmart. The letter was written by a prisoner in a forced labor camp in China's Masanjia camp; he was imprisoned for practicing Falun Gong, a banned religion whose members have long been targetted for brutal suppression by the Chinese state. CNN located the ex-prisoner and interviewed him as he narrated a story of "inhumane torture" at the camp.

He had to wait till everyone was asleep to write the letters in his cell. Jailed for believing in a silly religion, so absurd. Just let them think what they want..

Yes, Kmart still exists, Wal-Mart likely found the notes and burned them.

(he made a lot of them)

...and I can't stop shopping at K-mart, I can't even find one if I tried.

Walmart carries a lot of Chinese made products, and if some of Kmart's come from Chinese labor camps, it would be shocking if none of Walmart's did. As you point out, Walmart has a lot bigger retail presence (though there's still a Kmart near me). They probably did just trash all the letters.

Exactly, as he made so many letters it seems likely they were found and destroyed, so consumers would be kept in the dark. (If they didn't already know)
