Very interesting article
“We stabbed and slabbed people left and right in the day, but that way is less common now,” said Richard Mora, known as Chico, a Hells Angels member in the Phoenix chapter.

Um, good to know? :-o

"65 years after the Hells Angels was founded in Fontana, Calif., it still exists as a uniquely American subculture of hardened individualism, fierce fraternity and contempt for society’s mores." Of course, I wasn't alive 65 years ago, but in my hometown of Fontana, H.A. was heavily steeped in the culture of whom we all identified. Many of the members were friends of my family and spend a great time in our home. What I loved about them was their individuality, their loyalty to one another, and their deep sense of honor; not an honor they we TOLD to have for a government they felt imposed upon them. They honored their own government, created by themselves. I would have to say that was my best take-away from the experience.

Another thing I loved and have learned to love even more about the lifestyle was "Play the Game". If "The Man" had rules he had to play by, beat him at his own game with his own rules. Thus, sue those who steal from you. . . with the laws "The Man" uses to penalize you. ;)
