The good news is, my new laptop motherboard arrived 3 days earlier than the expected delivery date.

The good news is, my new laptop motherboard arrived 3 days earlier than the expected delivery date.

The bad news is, I don't know how to tear down my laptop for replacement.

I need help. (and hopefully it fixes everything) I'm looking at you, Nate Taylor . :D

Flip it over, remove the battery and the few screws under it. Remove every screw you see and pull the dvd drive (still upside down) there may be a few screws once you pull the dvd drive.
Open the memory/hdd access panel and remove everything that comes off the board. (mem, hdd, modem, wifi)
Flip over and open the display. At the top of the keyboard are some tabs. grab two small flat heat screw drivers. use one to get under the metal plate under the ESC key and the other to free the tabs locking the keyboard.
Pull the keyboard after releasing the ribbon cable harness. Repeat with all visible ribbon cables and wire plugs.
Pull the top shell off. Remove the few screws holding the board down and proceed.

Alt, we can schedule a time for you to visit the shop. : )
