Good job overreacting school administrators.  Zero tolerance is best, has to be done...ruin a kids life any way you can...learning from mistakes and experiences must not be tolerated....if they didn't come with all the best decisions baked into them already they must be aborted, even in their teens, or relegated to the human trash-heap.......
The previous statement was all sarcasm in case you missed it......It's interesting that some of the "captains of industry" and even likely the school administrators grew up in a time when all of this was tolerated and rarely was there lasting issues over a streaker or many of the other things that can result in throwing a kid away nowadays....I wonder what caused this incredible lack of tolerance in the education system....

From what it says it never even got to the point of the threatened punishment. I can't muster the same outrage at someone offing themselves well in advance of actually having the feared life destroying judgements officially handed down. I fully agree though that such consequences are draconian over reactive bullshit. My money would have gone on him not being handed such a punishment though, even if by law they could, as it's easy to predict the outrage of the public leading up to that.
