Tried using the Blogger app just to see if it's a viable alternative to the Ploos and ... it sucks. Any post with an image fails to publish. I can't delete posts. It logs me out constantly.

It's abysmal.

Isn't blogger owned by Google too?

Frederica Mussolini I was just reading a review where they said the posts weren't "public" and that there is no "public" stream.

Jason ON They are planning to implement that. They supposedly take user feedback and build for users.

Kevin Guertin I did create an account over there, so I'll give it a whirl. G+ is still my online "home" though. At least until August 2019.

I dunno. I'm a fan of Google. This last gut-punch though and their don't be evil out the side of their mouths has got me doubting more and more. I just don't want to invest more in another thing they'll pull away even though I've more than paid with my personal data.

Wait, you actually used Blogger? Without anyone forcing you? I could have told you it's bad. It wasn't great before Google purchased it and never really improved later.

There are people complaining about WordPress. WordPress is dimensions better.

Regretted it, didn't you? My old blog there still exists, but the whole thing was never a real Google thing. Blogs were fashionable back then, Google didn't have any, so they bought one. I'm surprised they haven't closed it down yet.

Kenneth Thompson I was hoping it would be easy and intuitive so I could make quick posts on the go. But, no.
