Just 36% ? - still sounds like a lot to me..

36% is all he needs to win again with all these eligible voters that sit on their hands.

I don't think any voters will be "sitting on their hands" for the next couple of elections. We had record black turnout for recent elections in Alabama that changed the expected outcome of the contest and an election in Virginia that was decided by one single vote. I think people are becoming aware that their votes matter.

I know several that refuse to vote, and they are not anomalies. I hope you're right and I'm just being to observant.

Jason ON I am a pessimist on all of these voters who "sit on their hands". When these voters get off sitting on their hands they wring them in despair and never get to the voting booth. The only way to get people off their hands is to really energize them - and give a policy platform to see that is different from Trump's and the current GOP majority. That has not happened.

Sam Moore - the folks who refuse to vote will refuse to vote again. They are too idealogically pure to sully their hands with politics and want to keep their superior attitude by not voting. By not voting they feel they can criticize both sides (Dems & Repubs) equally and fairly.

The only way to win an election is to have a coherent platform run by people with no baggage. It will be hard. It will be ugly. But the fight is worth getting results that are more in tune with how you perceive governments purpose to be. If you do not take part, then you have given tacit approval to the current regime, even though your mouth says otherwise.

Isn't it ideologically pure to demand candidates not be human ( have baggage)? IMO yes, it's a fool's errand.

THANKS YOU MR. PRESIDENT.

Chantha Hour "thanks you" for what? Destroying our image abroad? Rolling back regulations to the days when pollution of our water and air was rampant? Rolling back economic policies to the days of robber barons of the 19th Century?
