only an iphone user would want/need that
This looks like it only caters to FF only and not crop sensor cameras as well. Also if you know what youre using and what you have you shouldn't need an app to show.

David KutcherI'd say only a photographer would want/need that, but then only if they're not experienced enough to know instinctively which lens does what.
As for the price, app developers only price things that high when they are targeting a pro market. Not sure how that works out for them, I only recall a couple examples of $20+ apps, and can't really remember what they were

Kevin Anthony disagree, it's a hipster app. A pro worried about photos from their iPhone? And using an app rather than their knowledge an intuition?

Totally hipster.

David Kutcher Like I said, a photographer not experienced enough to know instinctively which lens does what. I don't think it's intended for taking pictures with the phone, it's intended as a reference to see how different SLR lenses will frame up the shot.

I have to agree with the Kevin Anthony on this. Supposedly real pros know what their lenses will do.

Now that I think about it, I could see it being useful for scouting locations without hauling your gear around, or maybe to show clients some options without changing lenses or letting them get their clienty fingers on your camera. In fact that's probably the best use for it.
Edit: I'm thinking from a video production point of view, where snaps from a location scout might end up in a storyboard.
