The good news is we still have GMOs to save us from the artificial pesticides that are killing off a natural system which costs absolutely nothing.

Its actually more complex that just GMO. As this article, http://phys.org/news/2013-04-high-fructose-corn-syrup-tied-worldwide.html,  points out, the honey that we take is now essential to bee health. Taking away the honey and replacing with corn syrup leads to an immune deficiency against mites that are now immune to GMO and pesticides. So its going to turn out that we can't change one thing to make it right, but everything must revert back, probably even leaving more honey in the hive, to make this right.

Richard Orth please read the article ;) There's nothing about GMO in there and it says pesticides probably aren't the problem.

Anyway, I've always held that this wouldn't be a simple problem and would be more like The Incredible Shrinking Woman where various "harmless" things band together to cause something that wasn't expected. In fact that's my theory on cancer too.... but I'm not a doctor so don't take my word on it.
