There is a new, Creative Commons, birthday song coming to you.

Apparently a 100 year old song that should be in the public domain is not in the public domain. A song you, I, our parents and grandparents all sang around dining room tables before blowing out candles isn't available for you to sing across a Google hangout or Skype or recording onto YouTube as a special gift.
