The dog, named Dutch, was punched, kicked, and beat with a metal pole before biting his attacker in self defense and has now been labeled by the court as a vicious dog.

The owners have less than two hours (as of ten minutes ago) to hand over Dutch to be euthanized while the woman who beat him walks free with not even a slap on the wrist.

This judge needs his head examined.

"However, Brown ordered Animal Control to take no action until all appeals are complete. Aguilar's lawyer promised to file an appeal before his client rushed out of the courtroom."

Who knows how long the appeal process will take? That was as of today via the NBC11 News link.

I think both sides are stretching the truth and the dog is the one who will lose.

As a kid, I remember watching a news program and they showed a dog in a cage, they poked it with a stick (litterally) and then it snapped at them and they went on about how it was  a damgerous dog..

so, how many of us would take many pokings of a stick before telling the person to ** OFF, and get the arse?? Hmm?? The mood Im in today 1 poke and Id probably rip their head off if I could reach it - I dont get put down as dangerous..

Like everything they will end up on the fence, and decide to put the dog down "just in case" and the humans will be told off and told that they are naughty and not to do it again
