Watched this.

Watched this. I wasn't expecting much, just a re-hashing of the same old story. However, I was pleasantly surprised. This was a real gritty version of the tale that grabbed all the core Robin Hood plot points in a very new way of interpreting them.

I couldn't help but find myself wanting to see a part 2.

I really liked this movie...too bad Russell Crowe doesn't do sequels though.

He doesn't? I didn't know that.

I'd heard that a long time ago and makes sense...I don't know of any movies he's done where there was a sequel and he was in it. Just did very quick search and apparently he says he won't do them "for the money" so not that he won't but there has to be a good reason for him too.

He is also trying to push for a sequel of Master and Commander (which would be awesome!) but I thought they put both books together to make the original movie in the first place??

I never saw Master and Commander. I've never been a big Russel Crowe fan.

Even though, historically, these characters would have been about 15-20 years younger than they are portrayed, it was a really good movie.
