Washed the bike earlier only to ride through rain within the first 10 minutes. Should get home tomorrow morning at about 3-4AM ... if we don't get rained out. There's a 40% chance of scattered showers.

Lots of problems on this ride. Brake fluid reservoir started leaking all over the place, got it sealed better but broke the reservoir itself, had to run over and get some superglue to glue it back together. Now it periodically leaks and bounces like a bobble-head. But, never fear, it's pitch black and we're getting ready to head up the mountain after dinner.

Six of us went up the mountain and yet only four made it to the bottom.

We waited at the entrance to the park for about fifteen minutes before I decided to head back up and look for accident scenes.

Nothing. No accidents, no second bike parked trying to wave down a car - nothing. So, I headed further up and didn't stop until I reached the top again. Nothing, but one coyote and one deer. So, I turned around hoping they'd finally made it to the bottom.

That's when my "you're out of gas" light came on. So, I kicked the SV into neutral and coasted down to the bottom. It was only twenty-something miles.

Finally, an he bottom I see the guys I left down there but no final two.

Turns out, the two took a wrong turn instead of following the group and made their own way to Boulder while we were worried and looking for them.

All-in-all, about 350 miles round trip hitting triple digits a few times and freezing our butts off.https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/nArjK5xUvBPjMoK_90yO4df-Iyxlcf-aajDi8xotyJdhBVFDBcCx2hW5L97oFCumHBwkj2Lhvxg
Jason ON brake reservoir is plastic on yours? Good roadside fix with the super glue on short notice...

Christopher Snow yes, it's plastic. I've been looking online for a CNC's aluminum one and found one on eBay that's "generic sportbike". Now sure how much wrangling it will take to make it work, which is the only reason I haven't purchased it yet. Ironically, it's cheaper than the OEM plastic one.

Alright, I just ordered this replacement in "titanium". Hopefully it fits, fits well and isn't a piece of junk.
