I've had false beliefs before.

I've had false beliefs before. We all have. Our parents teach us or we learn on the playground, in the school yard or at work. And then we branch out and challenge our beliefs, hopefully learning and growing into better informed people.

If reason is designed to generate sound judgments, then it’s hard to conceive of a more serious design flaw than confirmation bias.
