We talk about integrity and communication, of doing the right thing, making a quality product and then ensuring a positive end user experience. We usually speak of these things when we're talking about startups or small businesses, but rarely do we see wherein a lack of trust, of faith in a company's management, result in one enterprise refusing to work with another. Usually these concerns are wrapped up as some other explanation, such as a security issue or contractual disagreements.

And yet, the moral of the story is: no matter how large your enterprise, how little co petition you might have in the industry, people still matter. If you can't assure your partners you're going to be proactive and reactive why should they do business with you?
