I don't know about you, but I can't hear anything when I'm on my bike, especially conversational tones. I'm not sure I'd like a "smart" bike anyway. Kind of seems like it would take the adventure out of riding.

I would tend to agree, the concept of "Situational Awareness" for the road condition warnings , and traffic conditions could be helpful, but conversing with full on dialogue should be kept to a minimum.
After riding for so long, I think I'd find it hard to trust the advice of a machine.

I mean, I'm so used to doing the situational awareness Ross MacRae​ mentioned that I'd feel like it was a nagging back seat driver. Let alone if the machine "took over" for some reason.

EXPERIMENTAL GHOST oh for sure, I 100% agree, I think a good way of thinking about this is, because we know companies are going to add this kind of Grannie mode/backseat driver, how can it be made less intrusive while providing different levels of usefulness based on rider competency.

Same here Jason,. The only thing that made my scala Ryder pactalk better was wearing ear plugs the foam kind.
