This reminds me of a few years ago when I was driving around Colorado Springs with a friend. We happened to pass by Focus on the Family, and I told him we should go in, tell them one of us used to be a woman and ask if that still makes us a gay couple. He declined. He's a giant homophobe. I thought it was hilarious and still want to do it.

Both, though your story is similar to one I have. I suggested pretending to be a woman turning into a man but hadn't finished the operations yet and pretending to be pregnant. There was a particularly discriminating facility that I knew would totally flip with a story like that. My buddy chickened out too. I even offered to be the pregnant one.
