Chinese official blasts Google | Tech News on ZDNet

I'm no expert on Chinese economics, but in the U.S.A. companies have a right not to enter certain markets if they don't want to. Unless it's considered a primary service people can't live without such as telephone service in states where it's not profitable to enter otherwise.

However, I'm sure other search engines, image hosting services, blogging and everything else Google offers is available in China without Google.
