When you read this and believe the #GOP in Michigan is even more batshit crazy than you originally thought, consider this as well: the Republican party has been using the states as testing grounds for decades. They try something in one state, see how it plays our and then either adjust or apply to other states.

If passed, House Bill 6553 would authorize both houses of the Legislature “to intervene in any action commenced in any court of this state whenever the Legislature or a house of the Legislature deems such intervention necessary in order to protect any right or interest of this state, or of that body.”

The disease of unaccountability. Michigan's leadership (term used loosely) is badly infected with it.

This is why the guillotine was invented. I guess they want to see how far they can push their constituents before they snap, just as the French once did (and are doing again as I type this.)
