This isn't a "Suzuki" problem, but more a "corporate" problem. Companies from across the corporate spectrum are spending far too much time re-hashing old ideas than putting any money into R&D. Take the modern cell phone, for example. They're all the same: round-cornered rectangles with a power button and, maybe, a headset jack. Or the modern television that, no matter which manufacturer you buy, all looks the same. In fact, there's so little innovation out there there is often no point in upgrading or replacing your current product with something new.
