I have to admit, I'd never hear of Enheduanna before today. Apparently, she's the oldest known poet to actually write her prose down.

(Sumerian: π’‚—π’ƒΆπ’ŒŒπ’€π’ˆΎ,[1] also transliterated as Enheduana, En-hedu-ana, or variants;[2] fl. 23rd century BC)[3] is the earliest known poet whose name has been recorded. She was the High Priestess of the goddess Inanna and the moon god Nanna (Sin). She lived in the Sumerian city-state of Ur.[4]
